Sale of Ishmael Vineyard's land in York Co, South Carolina.

John Vineyard [attorney for Ishmael Vineyard, planter, of York County, SC] to Robert Smith of same for 82 pounds 5 shillings, 250 acres. 200 acres granted to said Ishmael by a grant from North Carolina signed by William Tryon, Governor, 28 Apr 1768, in Mecklinburgh County, North Carolina, adj. Jno Kernahan, and 50 acres granted to said Ishmael by North Carolina 14 Nov 1771, then in Tryon County, NC, on waters of Turkey Creek including part of his own improvement. John Vineyard attorney for Ishmael Vineyard (LS) and his wife, Jane Vineyard (LS). Witnesses: Jonathan Sutton, James Hawthorn, James Martin. January Court 1788, acknowledged in open court and ordered to be recorded.
