- (1) Mr. Donald Duane Angle, 83, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 11, 1935, to the late Charles Leonard and Vera Effie (Sansing) Angle. Funeral services will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, March 30 at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service. He was a veteran of the US Army. On June 1, 1963, in St. Louis, he married Judith Crews; she survives. He retired from Wholesale Marketing after 15 years of promoting Red Baron and Tony's pizzas. After retirement, he went to work with Seymour Tubing where he was a machine operator. He later became the first person to retire from Seymour Tubing. He was a former choir director in the church. He was an avid fan of sports, including the St. Louis Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts and Indianapolis Pacers. He was extremely talented, as he played both the trumpet and French horn. Most of all, he loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judith "Judy" Angle; children, Jeff (Kerri) Angle, Paul Angle, Karyn (Neil) Porter and Kristyn (Clinton) Cooper; grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Gabrielle, Charlotte, Ava, Meredith, Laurel, Jackson, and Owen. He is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Steven Donald Angle and Gregory Duane Angle; brother, Philip Darrell Angle; and sister, Mary Louise Wisor.
