  	Lutisha Noe was born May 7, 1870, near Highlandville, MO, and departed this life Aug. 2, 1940, at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 25 days. She was married to Marion G. Ellingsworth Oct. 7, 1888. To this union were born 12 children, two having preceded her in death, Luva and Dora. Those surviving are Ben, Mrs. Lula Maples, Mrs. Elsie Gahagan, Mrs. Edna Sims, Mrs. Beulah Russell, Mrs. Wonda Bolin, and Mrs. Mildred Blevins of Highlandville, Mrs. Neva Clay of San Francisco, CA, Ershel of Torrance, CA, and Melvin of Springfield, MO, one brother, Will Noe of Highlandville, one sister, Mrs. Melvina Haney of Huntington, IN, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Sunday in the Highlandville Baptist church conducted by Rev. W.C. Caughron of Ozark, with burial in the Highlandville cemetery under the direction of the Wilburn Maples Funeral Home of Clever, MO. [Source: Christian County Republican, August 3, 1940, p 3]
