IN MEMORIAM
Of Our Brother, Louis Sansing, Sr.
'Who has gone from our midst to that celestial Lodge above.'
Brother Louie Sansing was born at Eudora, Arkansas, September 26, 1902. One of three children, surviving is one brother, W. D. Sansing of El Dorado, Arkansas. Brother Sansing married Miss Mattie Frank Smith, February 1, 1925. To this union were born five children. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mattie Smith Sansing; one son, Louie Sansing, Jr.; four daughters, Mrs. Harold Foster, Clarendon, Arkansas; Mrs. Sterling Atkins, Crossett and Missess Mary Ann and Carolyn Sue Sansing, Fountain Hill. Brother Sansing was initiated into Portland Lodge No. 499, Portland, Arkansas. Was raised to the sublime degree of a master Mason by Puron Lodge No. 669 August 9, 1948. Affiliated with Pyron Lodge No. 669 November 12, 1948. Bro. Sansing missed only one meeting after becoming a Master Mason and attended Promise Land Lodge No. 652 at that time. He held several offices in the Lodge and at the time of his departure was Junior Warden. Brother Sansing proved to be a man of fine character, a gentleman who loved his neighbors. He was a man who didn't shirk when called upon. He will be long remembered for his kindness. Therefore be it resolved that this Lodge has lost a Faithful, Loyal and Worthy Brother, and the community has lost a good neighbor.
