- Joe Bill Wallace, age 75, of Peel, passed away at his residence on Sat., Feb 10, 2001. He was born Sep 7, 1925, at Peel, the son of William H. and Flossie May (Yocham) Wallace. He was a retired ferry supervisor for the Peel Ferry for the Arkansas Highway Dept. He is survived by his wife, Ruby; three sons, Ron Wallace of Harrison, Mark Wallace of Peel, and Donnie Wallace of Peel; three daughters, Bonnie Johnson, Bo Johnson, Jody Farmer, all of Peel. Also surviving are three brothers, Jim Wallace, Max Wallace, both of Yellville, Leon Wallace of Harrison; two sisters, Johnnie Mae Johnson, Susie Wallace, both of Yellville; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, O.G. Wallace. Visitation was held Mon Feb 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held Tues Feb 13, at 10:00 a.m. at the Peel Full Gospel Church with Bro. Dale Dickerson officiating. Burial was in Peel Cemetery. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Craig Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, David Kemp, Cory Johnson, Justin Johnson, Quinton Farmer, and Brandon Wallace. Burns Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Peel - Funeral services for 75-year-old Joe Bill Wallace of Peel will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Peel Full Gospel Church with Brother Carroll Johnson ad Brother Dale Dickenson officiating. Mr. Wallace died Saturday (Feb. 10, 2001) at his residence. He was born Sept. 7, 1925, at Peel to William and Flossie Mae Wallace. He was a retired ferry supervisor for the Arkansas Highway Department at Peel Ferry. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Wallace, of the home; three sons, Ron Wallace of Harrison, Mark Wallace of Peel, and Donnie Wallace of Peel; three daughters, Bonnie Johnson of Peel, Bo Johnson of Peel, and Jody Farmer of Peel; three brothers, Jim Wallace of Yellville, Max Wallace of Yellville, and Leon Wallace of Harrison of Yellville; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
