He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Wallace Dillon; two children, Tommy Dillon of Oklahoma City, OK, and Melinda Garman of Bastrop, LA; four grandchildren, Candice and Thomas Dillon and Cecil and Daniel Garman; one brother, Jimmy Dillon of Baton Rouge, La; and one sister, Dorothy Whitten of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hawkins and Mary Elizabeth Dillon, and a brother Hawkins Dillon, Jr. Services were held at 1 p.m. July 1 in the New Chapel Baptist Church. Interment was at Twin Cities Memorial Garden [now Kilpatrick's Serenity Garden] in West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
