  	Erla Beth Noble, 89, Crossett died Thursday, September 11. 2008. Born on February 26, 1919, to Richard L. and Jessie Griffin Brooks in Fountain Hill. Mrs. Noble taught school for 27 years and was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa teachers' sorority. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she also taught Sunday school for many years and was an avid gardener. Survivors include a son, Charles R. Noble of Crossett; two sisters, Vera Hoffman of Indianapolis, IN, and Claudia Scifres of Little Rock; two grandsons, Jonathan Noble of Crossett and Zachary Noble of Maumelle; one granddaughter, Brooke Noble of Dallas, TX; one great-grandson, John Charles Noble of Sulphur, LA; and one great-granddaughter, Riley Masters of Crossett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Noble; a son, Larry Noble; and four brothers, Riley Brooks, Turner Brooks, Huey Brooks and R. L. Brooks; and two sisters, Erma Noble and Willie Jo Rawls. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 13, in the Frist Baptist Church of Crossett with Bro. Larry White officiating. Pallbearers were Bill Phillips, Tommy Rawls, Michael Noble, Keith Kidd, Jim Knighton, Doug Thurman, Jimmy Wade Rice and Benny McDougald.
