There are two White Bibles. One that belonged to Henry Clay White was inherited by Ellen Estelle (White) Higginbotham. It was copied by the Col Francis Vivian Brooking chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and published. The second bible belonged to Cyntha Jane (Johnson) White Crenshaw which passed to her only daughter Cynthey Jane (White) Sharpe Spencer. This bible passed down to Jewel Spencer (Giles) Pennington, Rt 1 Box 289 of Fountain Hill, Arkansas. In the 1980s, my Uncle Morrell Foster took my mother and me to visit Jewel who allowed me to transcribe the family information from the bible. |
