	Leona Elizabeth (Sansing) Foster, 80, of Mabelvale, died Monday, October 1, 2007, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. A native of Ashley County and a resident of Mabelvale for the past 27 years, she was an excellent homemaker and mother whose family was her life. Her hobbies included camping, working in her rock garden and caring for her grandchildren. An excellent seamstress, she made all her own clothes and many of her childrens clothes when they were growing up. She was an active member of Henderson United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Fellowship Sunday School class. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Harold E. Foster of Mabelvale; two sons, H. Edward Foster and wife Cindy of Hope, Ark., and Fred Foster and wife, Betty of Bryant, Ark.; two daughters, Rita Foster Wallace of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Cindy Foster Serio and husband, Joseph of Katy, Texas; five grandsons, Ryan Wallace and wife, Linda of Highlandville, Mo., Chief Ivan Foster of the U. S. Navy, Dennis Foster and wife, Shelley of Gurdon, Ark., Bradley Foster and wife Audra of Conway, Ark., and Matthew Serio and wife Courtney of New Orleans, La.; five granddaughters, Clarissa Chemali and husband Santiago of Kansas City, Mo., Priscilla Vines and husband Terry of Hope, Ark., Stacey Foster of Little Rock, Ark., Ashley Foster of Bryant, Ark., and Katie Serio of Fayetteville, Ark.; five great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters; one brother, Louie Sansing and wife Betty Jo of Salem. Ore., one sister, Mary Ann Hudman and husband Jimmy of Little Rock, Ark., and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie Elvin and Mattie Frank (Smith) Sansing; and two sisters, Jettie Mae Atkins and Carolyn Sue Rowland. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2007, at Henderson Methodist Church, 13000 West Baseline Rd., Little Rock, Ark., with Rev. Kevin Lyon and Rev. Norris Steele officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander, Ark. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2007, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark. (501-455-1067). Pallbearers are her grandsons: Ryan Wallace, Ivan Foster, Dennis Foster, Bradley Foster, Matthew Serio, Santiago Chemali, and Terry Vines. Honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters: Clarissa Chemali, Priscilla Vines, Stacey Foster, Ashley Foster, Katie Serio and her friends: Frances Blair, Virginia Steele and Faye Rollins.
