    • Mrs. J. H. Foster. Mrs. Cynthia White Foster, aged 77, of Hamburg died in an El Dorado hospital Thursday, May 14 [1964]. She was the widow of Jesse H. Foster. Mrs. Foster was a lifelong resident of Ashley county and was a Baptist. Surviving are five sons, Clem Foster, Oklahoma City; Guy Foster, Eudora; Morrell Foster, Hamburg; Clifton Foster, Paragould; Harold Foster, Yellville; three daughters, Mrs. Willie Lee Lawrence, Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Essie Perkins, Texarkana; Mrs. Cynthia Mae Hollis, Fountain Hill; three brothers, Henry White, El Dorado; Burl White, Hamburg; Dixie White, West Monroe [LA]; one sister, Mrs. Estelle Higginbotham, Hamburg; twenty-four grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 3 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Raymond Carpenter and Rev. Hunter Carpenter. Pallbearers were: Charles Hollis, Pete Hollis, Bobby Foster, Howard Foster, Edward Foster, Freddie Foster, Andy Foster, and Don Foster, all grandchildren. Burial was in the Mt.
