- Steven Ray Sansing, age 49, of California, Mo., passed away Monday, June 16, 2008, at his home in California, Mo. He was born September 25, 1958, in Wharton, Texas, the son of William F. Sansing Jr. and Patsy A. Davis, who preceded him in death. He was married June 29, 1984, in Bay City, Texas, to Marcia Buster, who survives of the home. He graduated from Bay City High School in Bay City, Texas. He then attended Wharton County Junior College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a rice farmer where he was involved in rice research. He was a truck driver for Loethen Oil and retired from Hogan Transportation. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church where he was involved in Awanis and Sunday school. Other survivors include five children, Misty Dawn Green and her husband Ted of Bay City, Texas, Tim Ray Sansing of Austin, Texas, Stevie Rae Sansing and Dustin Kelly of Jefferson City, Mo., Miles Daniel Sansing of the home, and Megan Reann Sansing of the home; five grandchildren, Johnathan Green, Kristopher Green, Lacey Green, Blake Allee, and Kayden Kelly; one brother, Jimmy Sansing and his wife Judy of Bay City, Texas; one sister, Laura Sparks and her husband Steve of Bay City, Texas; one sister-in-law, Theresa Kempker and her husband Mike of Eugene, Mo.; and one dog, Kitty Kitty. He was loved and will be sadly missed by many. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 19, 2008, at 12 noon at Main Street Baptist Church in California, Mo. Officiating will be Bro. Ken Mathes. Burial will be in Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Mo. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 19, 2008, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at the church.
