    • Anna Pridgen died Friday, June 29, at 9:45 A.M. She sat down on the side of her bed and quietly passed into that peaceful sleep. The end came sudden and without pain. John Pridgen, who is a night watchman at the block factory was asleep at the time in another room, he was called at one but his wife had breathed her last when he came to her assistance. She had been in poor health for a number of years and for the last six years was constantly under a Doctors care. All was done for her that could be done to relieve her suffering. The deceased was born in Brownington in the year 1858. she grew to womanhood in that vicinity. She was married to John Pridgen on February 28, 1880. To this union four children were born, William H. Pridgen, Corning, Iowa; Albert W. Pridgen, Kansas City. Husband John is buried in Colorado (1858 - 1931).
