- Rack Pace, age 89, of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010, in Twin Lakes Nursing Center in Flippin. Rack was born July 10, 1921, near Flippin, Arkansas. He was the son of the late William Thomps and Martha Alzada (Jackson) Pace. Rack was a retired River Guide and he, along with his late wife, Wilda, operated the Pace Fishing Service for many years. He was a World War II veteran having served his county in the United States Air Force. Rack is survived by: His son: Keith Pace and his wife, Staci of Mountain Home, Arkansas; His daughter: Drenda Harkins of Benton, Arkansas; One brother: Lucian Pace of Sunnyside, Washington; He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda on March 31, 2007. Also preceding him in death were 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010, from 6-8 pm, at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas. - Graveside services for 89-year-old Rack Pace of Flippin will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Flippin. Visitation for Rack Pace will be this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Burns Funeral Home in Yellville. Rack Pace was a retired river guide and he and his late wife, Wida, operated the Pace Fishing Service for many years. He was a World War Two veteran who served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
