- Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Thost, 82, of Tallulah were to be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah with the Rev. Nat Heeth officiating. Burial was to be in the Silver Cross Cemetery here. She died early Saturday morning in the Vicksburg Hospital following a long illness. She was a native of Arkansas and a resident of Madison Parish for 57 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tallulah. Survivors include one son, Fred O. Thost of Jackson, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine King of Tallulah, Mrs. Harry O'Neal of Broken Bow, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Jane Chesler of St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
