This day personally appeared in open Court Joseph Beelor and Hezekiah Davis and acknowledged themselves indebted to the State of Tennessee that is to say Joseph Beelor in the sum of One hundred dollars and Hezekiah Davis in the sum of Fifty dollars to be levied of their proper goods and chattels lands and tenements to the use of the State but to be void on condition that the said Joseph Beelor make his personal appearance before the Honorable Judge of the Circuit Court at the Courthouse in Rogersville from day to day and answer a charge of the State exhibited against him and not depart without leave of Co

    Minutes. The Honorable Edward Scott presiding. State of Tennessee vs. Hezekiah Davis. This day came the State by the Attorney General and the defendant in his proper person and being charged on the Bill of Indictment plead Guilty and submit to the mercy of the Court. Whereupon the premises being seen and fully understood. It is considered by the Court that the said Hezekiah Davis for this his offense to be fined in the sum f Five dollars and pay the costs of this prosecution and held in custody of the Sheriff until fine and costs are paid or security is given therefor. Whereupon Absalom Kyle comes into open Court and offers himself as security for the fine and cuts. It is therefore considered by the court that the State recover of the defendant and Absalom Kyle his Security the sum of five dollars the fine aforesaid assessed together with the costs of this prosecution and that Execution issue accordingly.
