Word has been received here of the death of Isaac Jack Shaw, 76, of St. Joseph. He died at the Veterans hospital at Wadsworth, Kansas, after a lengthy illness, March 17 [1969]. He was a native of Pontiac, and a retired butcher for Armour and Company. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the American Legion St. Joe Post No. 11. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lola Shaw of the home; two sons, Anthony J. Shaw and Kenneth Jack Shaw, both of St. Joseph; three brothers, George of Pontiad, James and Harvey, both of Beggs, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Geneva Herd, Gainesville; and eight grandchildren. Services and burial were in St. Joseph, Missouri. |
