    Henry Co, GA - Will of Charles Sansing: "Know all men by these present that I Charles Sansing of the County & State of Georgia calling to mind the mortality of mankind do make ordain constitute and declare this my last will and testament in the following manner viz:

    First - I command my soul to almighty God who gave it me and my body to buried at the descretion of my executors.
    Secondly - I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife May a full and sufficient support during her natural life to be given her by my executors as she may think proper to demand of them.
    Thirdly - I give and bequeath unto my son Benjamin after his mother hath (May aforesaid) a Negro woman named Sarah and her two children Eady and Sam with their increase.
    Fourthly - I give and bequeath unto my son Francis a Negro girl named Mary with her increase also one lot of land lying and being in that Second District of Henry County and state aforesaid, known and distinquished by No. one hundred and four containing an estimative two hundred and one half acres.
    Fifthly - I give and bequeath unto my son James fifty dollars.
    Sixthly - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth one Negro girl by the name of Mariah a daughter of said Sarah given to Benjamin, one feather bed and furniture (the rest faded and unreadable pertaining to more items bequeathed).
    Seventhly - I give and bequeath to my daughter Phoebe fifty dollars.
    Eighthly - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Piety fifty dollars.
    Ninthly - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Charity fifty dollars.
    Tenthly - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret fifty dollars.
    Eleventh - my will and desire that all the balance of my estate of cattle I hope be equally divided between Benjamin, Francis and Elizabeth all my corn fields and fodder and also my house hold and kitchen furniture - in like manner.
    Twelthly - my will and desire that my Negro girl by the name of Gilry be sold for the purpose of payment of the above mentioned two hundred and fifty dollars to my son James and my four daughters Phobe, Piety, Charity and Margaret.
    Thirteenth - and lastly I appoint my sons Benjamin and Francis my executors to execute this my last will and testament I the said Charles Sansing to hereby declare that my last will and testament forever revoking and annulling all other heretofore made in testimony whereof I the said Charles have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal the 20th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred twenty-six.
