- Marvine Madden of Yellville, Arkansas died Sunday, February 13, 2005, at Yellville. She was 76 years old. Mrs. Madden was born March 12, 1928, at Cozahome, Arkansas to James O. and Rosa Belle Humphrey Avey. On March 29, 1948, she married William E. "Bill" Madden. She was a retired retailer and restaurant owner and member of the First Baptist Church in Yellville. Survivors include her sons, Billy Madden and wife Nita of Roswell, GA and Terry Madden and wife Dorothy of Yellville, AR; daughter Linda Sue Madden Davenport of Yellville, AR; brother, W. C. Avey of Yellville, AR; sister, Faye Reed of Batesville, AR and Bobbie Huddleston of Springdale, AR; eight grandchildren, Stacy Davenport and wife Valerie of Yellville, Shane Davenport and wife Darla of Yellville, AR; Brady Madden and wife Heather of Yellville, AR; Jeremy Madden of Rosewell, GA, Mathew Madden of Roswell, GA, Shana Layton and husband Randall of Yellville, AR, Brittney Madden of Yellville, AR and Nathan Madden of Washington D. C.: and eight great-grandchildren, Ashley Lakin McClean, Makala Lynn Davenport, Austin Guy Pemberton, Joseph Whittaker Davenport, Johnathan Lee Davenport, Lena Rose Davenport, Clayton Howard Villines, and Cylan Grant Madden. Her husband, Bill; five brothers, John, Leo, Gene, Tommy, and Jim; two sisters Edith and Vardie; and one grandchild, Brandy Madden preceded her in death. Visitation was held Wednesday, February 16, 2005, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Yellville, AR. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 17, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Yellville, Arkansas with William Shane Davenport, Jeremiah "Jeremy' Lee Madden, Nathan Dale Madden, Matthew Carl Madden, and Brady Grant Madden. Honorary pallbearers are Brittney Miranda Madden and Susan Shana Layton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yellville First Baptist Church, Yellville Food Closet or the Hospice of the Ozarks.
